Bathroom Heating + Underfloor Heating

With the colder months upon us, there’s nothing better than stepping in to a comfortably warm, heated bathroom. Bathroom heating has come a long way in the past decade and there are now a variety of clever and economical solutions to keep your wet areas warm. With options such as underfloor heating, wall mounted radiators, heat lamps and heated towel rails we can help you design a bathroom that will be a pleasure to use throughout the year.

Heating Options:

  • Radiators – Tubes Radiators from Italy offer a beautiful range of hydronic (water based) or electric radiators which can be wall mounted or floor mounted in the bathroom. Sculptural looking, the radiators come with the added functionality of extra hanging space for towels and clothes. They are also safe to use and cost effective. For more information on Tubes, have a read of our previous blog post here.
  • Underfloor Heating – Once considered an expensive luxury, there are now a variety of options for underfloor heating. It can be included in the tilers floor screed or laid on top of this just underneath the tile and comes with a easy to use touch screen pad for operation. Some systems can be pre-programmed to come on at a certain time so you can walk straight out of bed onto heated tiles in the mornings.
  • Heated Towel Rails – One of the most accessible ways to heat your bathroom, heated towel rails provide ambient heat and keep your towels toasty and warm. They can be retro fitted to an existing power point or on an external wall so are great for a quick fix in the winter months.
  • Heat Lamps – Bathroom heat lamps are an economical and easy solution for the colder months. They can be installed in to existing bathrooms and provide a comfortable, radiant heat from the ceiling. Combined with the bathroom light and exhaust, they are a great all in one product where cost is a concern.

With bathrooms often the coldest room in the house, we always suggest our clients incorporate some form of heating in to their bathroom design. Give us a call today to discuss your options and make sure your gorgeous new bathroom is comfortable all year round.
