We are delighted to have finished this North Perth project. For this project, Retreat Design provided the cabinetry for the kitchen and the scullery/laundry area. Opening up this space has completely transformed the entire home.

 Prior to this renovation, the kitchen in this home was closed up by a large wall and felt claustrophobic. Knocking down a wall and opening up the space, created so much more potential. In addition to this, the clients installed a sunlight above the kitchen which has made the space brighter and elevated the feeling of the room.

 The clients of this project engaged rmd studios and Kellie Carlos Interiors for selections and styling. With ideas out of the box, we thoroughly enjoyed this project. Working with an exciting colour palette including the Terrazzo tile backsplash and the pink toned tiles underneath the island bench, both installed by Sebastian Otley Tiling. Combined with the Arredo3 Fenix cabinetry in Commodore Verde.

 The scullery/laundry area took a more simple approach, opting for Arredo3 maxximatte in Bianco. A classic cabinetry choice that works in every space. Both the kitchen and laundry used the Caesarstone Fresh Concrete (4001).

 By blending light and dark, incorporating different textures and improving the lighting, this kitchen has undergone a complete transformation.
