Scarborough – Bathroom
Retreat Design was engaged by the owners of one of only two certified passive homes in WA, Abbetthaus, to design and manufacture the kitchen and bathroom cabinetry for their beach side abode. Our director, Steve Johnson, worked with Leanhaus Architects on the design with the brief to provide a quality and timeless cabinetry that would meet the sustainable ethos of the Abbetthaus building. White cabinetry from Arrital’s AK_Project collection was used in the kitchen, complimenting the desert modernist design and ensuring the crazy pave natural stone flooring remained the hero of the open plan living and dining area. A striking black Fenix NTM floating vanity from Arrital was used in the ensuite which looks superb against the Atlantic Granite picket wall tiles from Myaree Ceramics.
