Retreat Design was enlisted to supply the bathroom, laundry, powder room and kitchen cabinetry & fixtures for the renovation of a federation style home in Shenton Park. The end result was a warm and welcoming, open-plan kitchen area which was both eclectic and full of character, a perfect space for family entertaining.
The client’s brief was to create a modern kitchen extension without loosing the charm and history of the original traditional home. The kitchen cabinetry used was from Arrital’s AK_02 collection featuring white laser edged laminate paired with a walnut wood laminate finish to create a livable kitchen space. All the kitchen cabinetry came with the 100% Made in Italy badge ensuring that this kitchen will stand the test of time.
A stand out feature was the structured bookcase and office nook with a rectangular window aspect. This feature, coupled with multiple nooks and display areas, ensured the client’s unique collectables finished the kitchen cabinetry perfectly to create a space that truly reflected the client’s personality.
