The Design Process at Retreat Design

Our team of designers are often asked about the design process and what is involved in the scope of works with our company. At Retreat Design we offer a complete yet flexible service from initial design through to handing over a completed project. We can be involved in your kitchen and bathroom project as little or as much as you like.

Below, we’ve compiled a list of steps to let you know what to expect when designing and ordering your kitchen or bathroom with us:

• Initial point of contact between client and Retreat Design

• Client to provide us with design brief

• Review of plans (if available). Designer will also do a site measure and take photos

• Designer will start drawing up 3D designs and visualisations

• Feedback session will be scheduled with the client to discuss ideas

• Retreat Design will introduce colour palettes and material boards for the client to view

• Back and forth tweaking between client and designer to finalise the design

• Materials and finishes selection

• Client to sign off when they are happy with the final design and quote

• Order placed and construction phase to commence
