Crazy as it sounds, but the Christmas period is closing in on us and with that comes a gigantic push to get clients’ projects underway and finished. Getting to help create some happiness during the festive season with recently created spaces is something that we really love at Retreat Design!
Speaking of creating happiness…. we have just finished photographing some of the projects completed in the first half of 2018 and the results have blown our minds! One that we are particularly proud of is the kitchen and bathroom design and install for a Dorrington built home in Watermans Bay.
The design of this Watermans Bay kitchen and bathroom project was edgy and unique and heavily influenced by the client’s vision. The client and designer worked collaboratively and closely to create these flawless spaces.
The kitchen features dark tones of Paperstone on the benchtop and cabinetry door fronts, with wood veneer and copper highlights. Paperstone is made from recycled paper and non petroleum resin and is a really beautiful benchtop and cabinetry option. The result is a warm and inviting space that is completely unique.
The ensuite is a design feet with a feature wall clad with poured concrete to set the scene for a space that is unlike any others we have created over the years. Couple that with a solid surface bath, on trend black tapware and Paperstone cabinetry and the result is an exquisite ensuite for the owners to enjoy.
This was a new build home, with Dorrington Homes as the builder and Retreat Design engaged by the client to provide the kitchen and wet areas design and install. As an established importer of cabinetry, we have worked with many Perth builders over the years and are committed to working with both the client and the builder to make sure everyone’s needs at met.
With over 10 years experience, we are pretty sure our formula works: open communication and a dedication to getting the job done 100% to the client’s satisfaction. Having the best small business team in Perth also helps beyond measure!
