What is Dekton?

Dekton is the brand name given by Spanish countertop manufacturer Cosentino to their new ultra-dense material used for kitchen, bathroom, and workspace countertops.  Made from a mix of porcelain, glass and minerals, it is an innovative, ultra-compact surface that offers endless design possibilities for outdoor and indoor spaces.

The slimline composite material comes in large sheets which allows for greater design scope and installation without cuts or joins. Available in a wide range of finishes, there are over 40+ colours available which mimic the look of natural stones and marble. It is also wear, scratch & heat resistant.

In addition to Dekton’s technical excellence and design innovation, the company provides a 25-year warranty on all its surfaces giving you peace of mind when selecting this product. Perfect as a low maintenance benchtop solution, Dekton is easy to clean with hot, soapy water.

• Dekton is offered in 320 x 144 cm slabs. It is available in 8, 12, 20 and 30 mm thicknesses to suit any application. This product also offers Dekton Slim, an ultra-light 4 mm format that can be used in cladding and furniture.

• Abrasion Resistant: Dekton is highly resistant to abrasions & scratches. This makes it the perfect choice for heavy-duty work surfaces.

• Stain Resistant: It is highly resistant to stains with a non-porous surface.

• Fire & Heat Resistance: Dekton withstands high temperatures. Fire and extreme heat wont damage it’s surface.

• High Impact Resistance: Highly resistant to daily impacts.
